Tales of Love
Shrishti & Akhil
August 2026 · Bengaluru
Shrishti and Akhil's wedding had every reason to feel grand: the turrets of Bangalore Palace, a mandap strung with hundreds of lotus buds, and a cocktail night at Taj West End that ran well past midnight. What stayed with us were the small things. It began with an intimate haldi at Shrishti's home, only her closest family and friends, turmeric on every face and a living room that turned into a dance floor. At the palace, a traditional Kannada wedding unfolded ritual by ritual: a look held a second too long over the antarpat, a laugh shared in the middle of the muhurtham, Akhil in a red that lit up every frame, and two families who made every guest feel like their own.

The haldi stayed at home: closest family, closest friends, turmeric passed from hand to hand, and everyone simply happy to be celebrating together.

Then, Bangalore Palace. Lotus buds, jasmine and soft pink by Blue Water Productions, waiting for two families.

The first time she steps out as a bride. Her grandfather had been waiting for this day since the day she was born.

A few quiet minutes in the palace grounds, just the two of them.

The antarpata keeps the couple apart until the auspicious moment. Akhil couldn't quite wait.

Then Taj West End turned red, and the dance floor stayed full long past midnight.
